orthogonal views & elevations

Ortho photos, true-orthophotos, elevations and developed views. Available in black and white (grey scale) or in true colour. Processed to a rectified photo plan, a cad vector-graphic or in combination of both. As a stand-alone plan or embedded in floor plan, section and elevation.

The Ortho photo, a true to scale image devoid of distortion is a proven and reliable basis for plans or mappings. In architecture rectified images are used to capture building faces and other architectural surfaces. Objects of interest do not have to be all flat. Nearly any geometry can be processed to a developed view. Alongside photo cameras, 3d laserscanners can be used to create the basis data for ortho photos. Photogrammetry, the technique behind creating rectified images, is used in those cases where a common single-point survey, like tachometry, is not efficient due to the necessity of many single measurements. Additionally when a close to reality colour rendering of an object is needed.

„Colour rendering“ is not only the display of the colour scheme of a building. For maintenance, refurbishment, restoration, and the documentation of cultural heritage the display of damages at the building face is much more of importance. The precise capture of missing parts of the surface or of ornaments, as well as any changes in the material, traces of humidity, alga, or mold is vital. Damages can easily be spotted and differentiated in rectified high resolution images.
